Tucked away in a courtyard next to the Albert Dock, this is a very pleasant Information Centre. There's a desk next to the door with at least one person ready to help - I found all the people I spoke to in there very friendly.
There are lots of free leaflets on offer and a free map of the city too. The rest of the shop is given over to gifts of all kinds and they are laid out in a most attractive and eye-catching way. You can find a lot of Beatles souvenirs - some of the same things which are on sale next door at The Beatles Story - but also other colourful Liverpool souvenirs bearing the name of the city, including mugs, glass, toys, pens, bags, CDs, DVDs, confectionery, models and postcards.
