As a visitor, I'd say this is my favourite Bristol pub. It looks like a real old boozer, but the clientele are a bit 'fraffly', though friendly enough. Beers excellent, and a damn good Sunday lunch, with veg gie option.

A nice cozy real ale pub serving Gem ales, which I would recommend. Its a good pub to visit on a cold night but once you get settled in you don't want to leave.

The view from the window (bar the council flats) is wonderful spanning most of bristol. The staff are very friendly and will let you try before you buy, always a plus point in my boo (more...)

We were lucky enough to participate in Wednesday's silent film night. The pub goes deadly silent as you crane your neck round to wat (more...)
