The zoo is great, lots of fun for children and some new animals. I live in Heidelberg and we often go to the zoo. There is new house for elephants and only male elephants are there.

I really like the area just outside the mainentrance where polar bears live together with foxes. You can visit them at anytime and don't have to pay entrance :-) The foxes are sooo cute!!! Charming animals ;-)
