Living just off Penny Lane, this place is my local and it's absolutely fantastic. It's called 'Penny Lane Wine Bar' but it's a mix between a pub and a wine bar. It's not as posh or expensive as the bars on Allerton Road but it's definitely on the nicer end of the pub scale. It's an extremely popular place for both students and locals alike partly because it has great drink prices and a very friendly atmosphere.
