currently sat in here. lovely surroundings even though a little way out and first impressions is an old mans pub. the inside is really nice and the food is fantastic.

Sunday lunch at the Monro is fabulous! The atmosphere is superb, staff wonderful.
We had booked a table for four and unfortunately my husband had forgotten his meds and needed to return home to fetch them. It meant that we were an hour late sitting down. Although the restaurant was mega busy, they still accommodated us, we couldn't have asked for more.
Sunday roast is delicious. It's a proper freshly cooked roast - not like the pre-cooked ones you get in a lot of places these days. I (more...)hotelhopper

I went here for Lunch in December i had booked on their site on the internet but when we arrived they had not received the booking, however it was not a problem, the staff were very nice and we were shown to a table straight away.
The service was first class and the food was superb the place it's self is deceiving it looks nothing from the outside and one would walk past it, but inside it is well decorated warm and friendly and the bar is well stocked, and i found the prices reasonable.

A hidden gem that's well worth heading off the beaten track to find. Lovely relaxed atmos. Nice surround following recent refurb to enjoy the thoughtful menu n guest beers.

This is a real traditional pub that serves really high class food - the food is so good you could be in a restaurant, but, the prices are pub prices so you get lovely high class food at cheap prices.
The menu changes often so you never get bored and they offer some good special offers like meals from all around the world and 2 for 1 deals and that. Their sunday lunch is lovely and at £13 for two courses it is a decent price. One of their special nights is dedicated to puddings which is a plus (more...)Next
