Find the people in the shop are pleasant, maybe too many of them which will also drive up prices which I think are a little bit over the top. Be nice to see at Pets @ Home in Leith Walk to get them into competition with each other so the profit margins come down accordingly. Problem for me is transport to get to the Gyle from Leith therefor use Dofo's for convenience and time saving.

Definitelly NOT RECOMMEND. This is not a pet lovers shop - this is a business and it's main and only aim is to make money, money usually made on customers who have all the best of intentions but no knowledge and on poor animals taken from god knows where. I was one of them but learnt my lesson and won't go anywhere near them even if that were the last shop in Edinburgh.

May i just start by sayin i WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY COSTOME AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have been in twice as i am a dedicated lover of pets at home but as its a 45 minute drive away and i have hungry animals too feed i had no other option .
In the first instance i bought bird/dog food and when i did reach the counter the staff where verry rude and unhelpfull speaking to one another aloowing me o wait inches infront of them for 10 minutes.

Dofos is a family-run business and you really get that vibe when you walk into the shop. It has a great selection goods for your pet ranging from the practical to the fun. Most things in here are a little more expensive than you would pay in a large chain shop or online at Amazon, however the staff can’t be faulted with their friendly attitudes and animal knowledge. They offer a delivery service too.
