the coffee here is cracking! using artisan roast, fitting with their ethic of using local providers, the flat white i tried was marvelous. rich, soft, robust, round, delicious. perfect temperature, perfect cup size. edinburgh larder is spot on and all foodies (and coffee lovers) will find joy here :) http://edinburghcoffeelovers.blogspot.com twitter: @edinburghcoffee

I was also at Edinburgh Larder for the Qype tasting event, but like Arnold Schwarzenegger, I'll be back! This well-kept secret was like being in your friend's mom's 1980s kitchen; the kind of place you go where you know you'll be welcomed warmly by people who really care about what they're feeding you, and you'll get only the best of freshly prepared, honest-to-goodness home-cooked food.
