finally broke my duck on sunday with horrendous hangover and starving and craving nutrients to replace lost electrolites a few light ales in the elektrik bar next door and into the " has this been here for years or new" chippy of chorlton. choices of fish like the old days and choices of other things too whilst a plasma tv reminds you its not 1978 and theonly place to go is the spread eagle . my fish was massive ,took 3 of us to eat it ,chips good but not amazing but i dont know if ch (more...)annaselecta

I have been in here a few times, usually after falling out of The Dulcimer pub next door, which is an end of the night party pit stop pub, with a late licence at the weekends.
The chips are really good. And I am a chip lover, so I know what to look for! They are not greasy, they are not sloppy - they are a good texture, piping hot and have the all important freshly cooked potato taste.
It's always pretty busy in there and appears to be clean and well lit too.
